Foam Rubber Machine
Foam rubber is a fun and useful material. Having a foam rubber machine would be a great asset for HAL9K. It is a project in its own right, but can also be used for future projects.
Requisites
- We will aim to use as few hazardous chemicals as possible, so instead of foaming agents we will use vacuum. Thus, we must either construct or aquire a vacuum pump.
- The material needs to be both frozen and heated, so we must bash both an oven and a freezer.
- The timings for moulding should be automatically controlled by a microcontroller.
- Chemical expertise is needed for constructing the recipies.
