Negative scanner
This guide will be based on using the following Camera equipment:
- Canon EOS 40D (but any Canon APS-C sensor size camera will work)
- Tokina 90mm f/2.8 macro

Equipment
What to do
- remove filter from filter ring
- calculate/measure length of PVC pibe to give a full 35mm film view (it's better to crop in software that to loose image)
- cut PVC pipe to length
- mount PVC pibe to the step up ring on the 77mm side
- mount dias film holder to opposite end of PVC pibe
- mount the pol filter ring between the lens and “scan unit”
At this point we are ready to go and just need some proper light and a few solutions may work:
- LCD screen (laptop, tv or whatever)
- soft box
