It has a sweet, sour taste, and an alcohol content of 10-15%. The taste and aroma of umeshu can appeal to even those people who normally dislike alcohol."

 +  * **2011-07-28** - 7x2.2l jars were filled with Klar Brøndum, sugar, and plums. We used 4kg sugar, 8x0.75l Klar Brøndum and an unknown amount of ripe/unripe plums. 3 jars with unripe plums and 4 with ripe plums.
